The National Library of Wales offers a wide range of subscribed electronic resources, ranging from scholarly journals to encyclopaedias and newspapers. In conjunction withCardiff Council , the National Library of Wales would like to offer you the opportunity to register for access to our electronic resources by completing the form below.

You can use this form to register for an NLW online account that will:

give you instant access to the Library's Subscriptions from anywhere**
save you time by allowing you to order items in advance of your first visit to use the Reading Rooms***

As this service is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government, we regret that if you don't have a home address in Wales you won't be able to register for access to all the Library's electronic resources.

(see What can I access?) * Please note that in order to gain access to the Reading Rooms you will need to upgrade your account to a Full NLW Readers Ticket. In order to do this, you will need to bring with you 2 proofs of identity, one of them showing your current address.
